Cheesy Chicken Nuggets



for 4 portions

1 pound ground chicken (455 g)

salt, to taste

pepper, to taste

½ lb mozzarella cheese (225 g), cubed

1 cup panko bread crumbs (50 g)

dried oregano, to taste

½ cup flour (60 g)

2 eggs

oil, for frying



First, season the ground chicken with salt and pepper.

Take a handful of ground chicken and roll into a ball, place a cube of cheese in the centre and wrap the ground chicken around it. Shape it into the shape of a chicken nugget. Set aside.

Season the panko with oregano.

Take the chicken nuggets and coat them with flour, dip them in egg and cover them with the panko/organo mixture.

Fry them in oil until they are golden brown and crispy.
