1 box of gluten-free cake mix
15 oz (about 2 cups) pure pumpkin
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Pecans or walnuts, chopped
Mix pumpkin and cake mix together until creamy. Stir in pumpkin pie spice.
Spoon mixture into muffin pan lined with muffin liners. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top (can also mix these into the batter before spooning into muffin liners).
Bake at 350 for approximately 20 minutes. Check with a toothpick for doneness. Muffins are done when toothpick comes out clean.
